My father was an architectural draftsman, and watching him draw sparked my early love for lines. I once dreamed of becoming an architect, but life led me unexpectedly toward art.
During my early training, I moved away from structured, ruler-based work and explored figurative painting. Yet over time, I felt drawn back to geometric forms. Initially, I saw this return as a setback, but reflection revealed a deeper connection between my experiences, leading me to the concept of synchronicity ? the idea that seemingly unrelated events are interconnected over time.
This understanding forms the core of my practice. In my paintings, the structured geometric compositions represent the conscious mind, while recurring eye motifs embody the subconscious ? an unseen observer that records our experiences.
Through acrylic paint, I translate these hidden mental connections onto canvas, making the invisible tangible.
