
Joyce Pommer
Joyce Pommer, born in Quincy, Massachusetts, studied at The Academy of Art College in San Francisco, The Art Institute of Boston, and the Art Students League in New York City. Her work has been widely exhibited in solo and group shows across the U.S., including a solo exhibition at Southwest Minnesota State University Art Museum in 2008, where her work was added to their collection.
Her art has been featured on the covers of Art Voices (2014) and Women Arts Quarterly (2017), and in publications such as Studio Visit and Art Folio 2020. Her painting “Pathways” was selected for the 2016 Art Annual at the Danforth Museum. Joyce participated in The Other Art Fair (Brooklyn, 2018), and solo exhibitions at the Boston International Fine Art Show (2019, 2022). In 2024, she showcased her work at Focus Art Fair New York.
Her works have appeared in The Language of Making, Blink ADC Fine Art (2022), and Art Herald Magazine (2022). Joyce lives in New York City, maintaining a studio in Long Island City.
