Mr.Devil

Takuma Tanaka is a Japanese contemporary artist born in 1977, primarily working as a painter. Deeply influenced by his studies in consciousness, biology, and economics, he views art as an interdisciplinary practice that connects science, psychology, and philosophy. Inspired by Takashi Tachibana’s ideas on the interconnectedness of knowledge, Tanaka explores diverse themes such as DNA’s Problem, Tree Man, Cake Ship, Capitalism, and Human Sushi. His work has been exhibited internationally, including solo shows at Salmagundi Art Club in New York, J Art Gallery in Shanghai, and The Museum of Modern Art in Saitama. His works are part of public collections at Ulster Museum, Waseda University, and Urawa High School, and he has been featured in Metropolitan Magazine, Forbes India Online, and GP Magazine. Constantly seeking new insights, Tanaka continues to push the boundaries of contemporary art by integrating different fields of study into his creative process.
